The Kalash belonged to businessman Sudhir Jain, who traditionally brought it daily for worship rituals. The theft reportedly occurred on September 3 during a welcome ceremony when the Kalash mysteriously disappeared from the stage amid the commotion.
Authorities confirmed that the entire incident was captured on the restaurant’s CCTV cameras, which clearly recorded the movements of the suspect. Delhi police have already traced the identity of the individual involved and said that an arrest is expected soon.
According to police sources, the theft has sent shockwaves through the Jain community, as the Kalash holds both religious and significant monetary value.
