A Hardoi man who went missing in 2018 has been found alive — appearing in Instagram reels with another woman.
Jitendra Kumar, a resident of Atamau village, had married Sheelu of Murarnagar in 2017. Shortly after the birth of their son, he disappeared, prompting a police complaint in April 2018. Despite searches, he could not be traced.
Now, Sheelu has spotted her husband in reels from Ludhiana, where he is seen with another woman. She claims he has remarried and accuses his family of concealing the truth.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Nripendra Kumar confirmed that Sheelu has filed a fresh petition at the Sandila police station. The case is under investigation, and legal steps will be taken.
