Mild tremors were felt across Delhi and its adjoining regions on Friday evening after an earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale struck Haryana’s Jhajjar district, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).

The earthquake occurred at 7:49 pm at a shallow depth of 10 kilometers. People in parts of Delhi-NCR reported feeling the ground shake briefly. The tremors were also experienced in Haryana’s Rohtak and Bahadurgarh areas.

This was the second seismic event in Haryana in just two days, raising concerns among residents about increased tectonic activity in the region. So far, there have been no reports of damage or casualties.

Authorities have urged people to stay alert and follow standard safety protocols in the event of future tremors.
