
The 135th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and a relentless advocate for social justice, will be observed with a ceremonial tribute at the Prerna Sthal, Parliament House Lawns, on Monday. Dignitaries including President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will lead the nation in paying floral tributes to Babasaheb in the morning ceremony.
The public will have the opportunity to visit the venue until noon to pay their respects. According to an official statement, the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation has also organized special bus services for visitors wishing to visit the Dr. Ambedkar National Memorial (DANM) at 26, Alipur Road, also known as Mahaparinirvan Bhoomi, to honor the legacy of the great leader.
This solemn occasion will serve as a reminder of Dr. Ambedkar's tireless efforts toward equality and social justice in India.
