
The Ministry of Education today unveiled the 10th edition of the NIRF Rankings 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. IIT Madras retained the No.1 position Overall for the seventh consecutive year and also topped Engineering for the 10th year in a row. IISc Bengaluru secured the top rank in Universities, while IIM Ahmedabad led in Management.
Other highlights include IIT Roorkee topping Architecture, Jamia Hamdard leading Pharmacy, and AIIMS Delhi continuing as India’s best Medical institute. Jadavpur University, Kolkata, was ranked the best State Public University.
The rankings, spread across 17 categories, reflect excellence in Teaching, Research, Innovation, Inclusivity, and Perception.
