Three days after the Indian Army carried out precise cross-border strikes under Operation Sindoor, the identities of five senior terrorist operatives eliminated in the mission have been confirmed. The targets included high-ranking members of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), all of whom played critical roles in orchestrating cross-border attacks against India.

Among those killed was Mudassir Khadiyan Khas, better known as Abu Jundal, a senior Lashkar commander overseeing operations from the group’s Markaz Tayyaba base in Muridke. His funeral received full state honours, with a guard of honour by the Pakistan Army and floral tributes sent on behalf of the Pakistani Army Chief and Punjab Chief Minister. The funeral prayer was led by Hafiz Abdul Rauf of Jamaat-ud-Dawa and attended by a serving Lieutenant General and the Inspector General of Punjab Police.
