Royal Challengers Bengaluru pacer Yash Dayal is currently facing serious legal trouble as he has been accused of sexually harassing and raping a 19-year-old aspiring cricketer from Jaipur. According to the police complaint, the alleged incidents began when the complainant was 17 years old. She claims that she met Dayal during an IPL match in Jaipur and he invited her to a hotel under the pretext of guiding her cricket career. The complaint states that the first sexual assault happened there, and the abuse allegedly continued multiple times over two years, with Dayal using emotional manipulation and false promises of support for her cricket ambitions.

Due to her being a minor at the time of the first incident, the case was filed under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The FIR was lodged on July 23, 2025, under sections including rape under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and POCSO Act.

Also, this is not the first such allegation against Dayal. Earlier, he was booked in another sexual assault case based on a complaint by a woman from Ghaziabad, who accused him of a five-year relationship where she alleged emotional, physical, and mental exploitation, deceit, and false promises of marriage. This led to an FIR under Section 69 of the BNS concerning sexual intercourse by deceitful means. The woman claimed multiple affairs, mental harassment, financial exploitation, and introduced her as a prospective spouse to Dayal’s family, who allegedly treated her as a daughter-in-law. The police have recorded statements, issued notices to Dayal, and the investigation continues with documented evidence such as chats and videos supporting the allegations.

Meanwhile, the Allahabad High Court granted interim relief to Yash Dayal by staying his arrest in the Ghaziabad case, directing no coercive action till the next hearing. The court also responded to Dayal's petition challenging one of the FIRs.
