New Footage Reveals Both Indian Air Force Officer and Accused Biker Engaged in Physical Altercation

In a dramatic development in the Bengaluru road rage case involving an Indian Air Force couple, new video evidence has surfaced showing both parties physically assaulting each other. This follows the viral video posted by Wing Commander Shiladitya Bose, who appeared with visible facial injuries and recounted being attacked.

The incident took place in the early hours near the DRDO Colony in CV Raman Nagar, as Squadron Leader Madhumita Bose was driving her husband to the airport. According to Wing Commander Bose’s initial account, a biker allegedly intercepted their car, hurled abuses in Kannada, and physically assaulted him after spotting a DRDO sticker on the vehicle.

However, Bengaluru police now confirm that the altercation was not one-sided. Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Devraj D clarified that this was not a case of regional bias, countering social media claims that framed it as Kannadigas targeting non-Kannadigas.

Adding another layer to the story, the accused biker, identified as Vikas Kumar, has filed a counter-complaint against the Air Force officer.

CCTV and bystander footage show a heated confrontation on the pavement, where Wing Commander Bose is seen pushing and grabbing the accused by the neck while his wife attempts to intervene. The situation escalates as the officer punches the biker, who retaliates by kicking him. Witnesses can be seen trying to separate the two.

At least four CCTV clips have emerged, capturing moments from the alleged road rage. In one, the accused appears to pick up a stone and allegedly attempts to strike the car window, which Bose claims injured his head.

Squadron Leader Madhumita Bose also filed an official complaint stating that the biker was riding recklessly and nearly collided with their car. According to her, the situation escalated after the biker recognized the DRDO affiliation and made inflammatory remarks. She alleged that after the initial attack, the man returned with others and dragged her husband onto the road, where a group began assaulting them.

Authorities are continuing their investigation while both parties face legal scrutiny in what is now confirmed to be a case of mutual assault.
