U.S. Vice President JD Vance's India visit: PM Modi talks, Jaipur and Agra tours next week

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance is set to make his first official visit to India from April 21 to 24, 2025. This visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries. During his stay, Vance will meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other key officials to discuss enhancing cooperation in areas such as technology, trade, and strategic partnerships.

The visit is part of ongoing efforts to deepen the India-U.S. relationship amid growing geopolitical and economic collaboration. Recently, Prime Minister Modi and Elon Musk had a phone conversation about India-U.S. cooperation about India-USA tech ties, showing how both countries are looking to work together. During the visit, the two sides will also exchange views on regional and global developments of mutual interest. Discussions are expected to focus on advancing economic, trade, and geopolitical ties, including ongoing efforts to finalize a bilateral trade agreement by fall 2025, amid a complex global trade environment.
