Melodiously, yours

Nakash Borker was raised in a small Catholic-dominated village of Utorda. His house is located just across the church of our lady of Lourdes Utorda and was associated and scripted with the parish youth during his youth days. He participated in various activities of Parish youth, UC Utorda. Took part in many singing competitions during school and college days. He was a regular group leader for Christmas programmes in the village enthralling the crowd.

He has written and directed many comedy and one-act skits. He used to organize cultural programs. Acted in Kala Academy Tiatr Competition for almost 12 years. He has written and directed tiatr VANTTE with Bonny Pereira and his wife Late Antonette De Calangute in the lead. He has written a book of poems "Yad Tuji" in 2008 and was editor of "Utordechim Kirnnam", UC club magazine.

He also penned the lyrics and sang a hit number "Niz Mog" from Konkani Album "Kalliz"

He formed a Tri-band in Dubai "Lanmixx" with Aquino Azavedo and Maria Lourdes Fernandez. Remy Pereira emphasizes that his village Utorda is a perfect example of communal harmony and Nakash has contributed a lot in that aspect and have been active in church activities and took leadership and brought all the villagers in UAE under one umbrella to celebrate the church feast in 2015.

Another prominent villager Rocky Noronha has similar views and says that his latest song ‘Vatt..Soth..Jivit’ is a glowing example of communal harmony.

He had in the past, promoted a cultural fusion with lot of activities of all communities.

His Latest song "Vatt..Soth..Jivit.. a video song which was released on April, 2, 2017 has been well accepted and appreciated by all Goan Catholics around the world. It was released on Facebook and is already viewed by almost 38,000 and shared by over 880 people. 

 Nakash says he dedicated it to all the Parishioners of Our lady Of Lourdes Church, Utorda and to all his Catholic friends and their families. It was screened for the people of Utorda during "Way Of The Cross" at Our lady of Lourdes Church, Utorda - Goa.

 The Lyrics & tune is by Nakash, music has been composed by Ramiro Mascarenhas. It has been videographed by Praveen Rodrigues, edited by Eldrich Rodrigues. It was recorded by Roy at Sienna Studio, Dubai.

The song has beautiful melodious vocals by Nakash and Preema Rodrigues-D'Souza, who is a versatile singer from Mangalore.
