MAPUSA: Three Belgaum youth died on the spot in a tragic accident reported at Cunchelim in wee hours of Sunday after the driver lost control and rammed the car into a roadside tree.
The deceased have been identified as Nayar Angolkar (28), Rohan Gadag (26) and Sunny Anvekar (31). The fourth occupant Vishal Karekar, who sustained serious injuries, is undergoing treatment at GMC.
According sources, the accident occurred at around 4 am when the four youth were heading to Siolim from Belgaum in a car. On reaching Cunchelim, the driver lost control and rammed the vehicle into a roadside tree.
