
PANJIM: Six IAS officers were transferred from Goa to Delhi while Sandip Jacques, IAS and Bosco George, IPS were brought back to the State even as the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi effected transfer of 39 IAS and 25 IPS officers of Joint AGMUT Cadre, on Wednesday.
V Candavelou, Subhash Chandra, Sanjeev Ahuja and Sandip Jacques, all IAS officers have been transferred to Goa while, IAS officers Sanjay Gihar, Chokha Ram Garg, Tariq Thomas, Hemant Kumar, Vandana Rao and Vivek H P have been transferred from Goa to Delhi.
V Candavelou (1997 IAS batch), Sanjeev Ahuja and Sandip Jacques (both 2009 batch) have been transferred from Andaman and Nicobar Island to Goa while, Subhash Chandram (2009 batch) has been transferred from Delhi to Goa.
Besides, Bosco George, who was posted in Arunachal Pradesh, IPS officer Omvir Singh has been transferred from Chandigarh to Goa, while, DIG Paramditya, IPS has been transferred from Goa to Delhi.
Sanjay Gihar, Chokha Ram Garg, Tariq Thomas, Hemant Kumar and Vandana Rao have been transferred from Goa to Delhi, while, Vivek H P, who was Director of Mines and Geology has been transferred from Goa to Arunachal Pradesh.
Meanwhile, Director of Higher Education Prasad Lolayekar has been given the additional charge of Executive Director of Sports Authority of Goa (SAG), in addition to his own duties, with immediate effect.
By another order, the government has posted Tiswadi Deputy Collector and Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Isha Sawant and North Deputy Collector (Elections) Shubham Naik in the office of Chief Minister with immediate effect, until further orders.
The Deputy Collector (DRO) North has been asked to hold the charge of Deputy Collector (Elections) and Deputy Collector (LA) North has been asked to hold the charge of Deputy Collector and SDO, Tiswadi, in addition to their own duties until further orders.
