PANJIM: The Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), pioneer in test preparatory services for aspiring doctors and engineers, on Tuesday, launched their National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) 2021 -- a flagship annual scholarship exam for students from Class VII to XII.
The ASEL, which is set to provide upto 100 per cent scholarships along with cash awards for the very first time has decided that five of their students across grades will get a chance to visit NASA in April-July, next year.
Addressing the media persons, ASEL Deputy Director Abhishek Kumar Sinha said that the target this year to enroll 10 lakh students for ANTHE 2021, which will be held in online as well as in offline mode in December, across 24 States and Union Territories in the country.
“A novelty for the students this year is that five performer across grades will be awarded a free-trip to NASA along with one parent,” he said.
As an additional benefit, the students qualifying ANTHE will also get the merit nation school booster course free of cost.
This is ANTHE’s 12th edition and since 2010 scholarship has been offered to more than 23 lakh students.
ASEL Assistant Director Vikaram Khatri informed that the registration for ANTHE has already commenced.
He said that the online examination will be held from December 11 to 19 while offline exam will be on December 12 and December 19 only.
The test of one-hour carries a total of 90 marks and comprises 35 multiple-choice questions that are based on grade and streams of aspirations of the students.
For Class VII-IX, the questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and mental ability while for Class X medical aspirants exam covers Physics, Chemistry, Biology and mental ability and for engineering Mathematics will be included in place of Biology.
For Class XI and XII students who aim for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology and for engineering aspirants from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
