PANJIM: Anti  Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Goa Police in their chargesheet before court  indicts actor Kapil Jhaveri in 2020 Vagator rave party case. Jhaveri is  also one of the founder of Tirumalla Tirupati Multi-state Coop Society.  The name of businessman Shailesh Shetty was dropped due to lack of evidence  against him.

 Jhaveri, a  small-time actor and big time entrepreneur was arrested on August 15,  2020 after police raided the rave party at his residence in Vagator  village of North Goa district. 

Narcotics worth over Rs 9 lakh were seized from the party that was going on amid the Covid-19 pandemic. 

 Besides  Jhaveri, three foreigners were also arrested and they were booked under  provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
