PANJIM: BJP has hit out at AAP leader Pratima Coutinho for ‘unnecessarily trying to create issues to hog the limelight during the pandemic’.
In a press statement issued by the BJP media convenor, Sudesh Sadhale, he said Goans had rejected AAP, a party that Coutinho had joined recently, and had endorsed the leadership of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
BJP said Coutinho should be putting in efforts to save the lives of people and should join NGOS that are helping the government’s efforts to serve the people during the pandemic.
BJP added that Coutinho herself is a beneficiary of the State’s COVID infrastructure when she was treated successfully at Goa Medical College (GMC) and that she should be thankful to the government and dedicated team of doctors who have helped several thousand recover from COVID.
