CM just smiles when asked about Cabinet Expansion
DABOLIM: There is no sign of any moves for a Cabinet Expansion. When Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, who met the Prime Minister and Home Minister on his Delhi visit returned to Goa on Thursday, he just smiled when asked about Cabinet Expansion. So it appears that those who crossed over from Congress to BJP or new entrants into the Cabinet will have to agonizingly wait still longer.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated that he he discussed matters pertaining to development, tourism, noise pollution with the Prime Minister, the Home Minister Amit Shah, the Finance Minister and the Environment Minister.
He disclosed that matters pertaining to the 16th Finance Commission and party matters were discussed in New Delhi. Sawant said the political situation in the state was also discussed with central leaders.
