A fresh confrontation erupted between locals and the RVNL contractor at Primeiro Vaddo, Velsao. Sarpanch Diana Gouveia stood firm against the contractor and workers, challenging their actions. Tensions flared as Gouveia confronted the contractor over the ongoing issues in the area, reflecting the growing unrest among residents.

Residents are raising concerns about individuals from South Western Railways who have entered their private properties without proper documentation. They have issued a stop work order regarding this situation, advising that any disputes should be taken to court for resolution. The panchayat has not lifted the stop work order as requested by the South Western Railway officials.

In response, the railway authorities have approached the land and survey department to clarify land boundaries, with hearings still in progress. Consequently, the land remains under the panchayat's ownership, and the railway authority is prohibited from commencing any work in this area.

RVNL is currently disposing of mud in the Villagers' Right of Way at Primeirovaddo, Velsao, even though the issue is under consideration by the ISLR court in Margão. Local landowners have presented their documents to the ISLR court, and 46 respondents have been summoned to court by SWR Captain Viriato Fernandes, who has expressed his concerns to RVNL, the Goa Police, the RPF, the Sarpanch, the panchas, and representatives from the NGO Goencho Ekvott.
