Cops yet to decide on summoning Suzanne Khan

PANJIM:  Panjim police are yet to decide whether to summon Suzanne Khan, interior designer and former wife of Hrithik Roshan, in a case of cheating filed against her over a week ago.

PI Siddhant Shirodkar said they are instead calling for documents related to the alleged fraud as the case is at an initial stage. “Not yet. We will ask for documents,” he said responding to Herald’s question about issuing summons to the celebrity.

Khan has been accused of allegedly cheating real estate firm, Emgee Properties, of Rs 1.87 crore by projecting herself as an architect to secure a contract with the company.

The company’s managing partner Mudhit Gupta had complained that she had represented herself as an architect and designer, and that in September 2013, the company had executed a contract with her ‘for architectural and designing services’. The complaint states she failed to execute the project in Siridao.
