Couple have miraculous escape, as car falls into gorge at Collem

COLLEM: A couple had a miraculous escape, after their car fell into a deep gorge at Collem. They escaped without injuries. They were travelling in a Goa registered private i-10 car. They were rescued by fire and emergency services. The incident occurred at 12 noon on Saturday, on a culvert located on the Mollem-Collem border. The couple had come to Goa to organized an event and were returning from Dudhsagar waterfalls, when the incident occurred.

A couple from West Bengal escaped from the jaws of death, as their car fell into a deep gorge at Collem. They escaped without injuries. The exact spot where the accident happened is Piklewadi on the border of Mollem and Collem.

The driver swerved the vehicle to save the life of a dog, which ran onto the road. In the bargain, the car fell into a deep gorge between huge rocks. The Fire and Emergency services rescued them. Later a bigger crane was summoned from Ponda Fire and Emergency services.
