Desperation as Naresh Nagvenkar’s house at Ribandar collapses

PANJIM: Naresh Nagvenkar is desperate as his house collapsed 20 days ago due to heavy drilling by Smart City near his house. No help has been forthcoming even as he has made personal pleas and submitted letter with photos to the Revenue Minister Atanasio Monserrate. The drilling combined with the heavy rains, led to part of his house collapsing at Panelim, Ribandar near the Divar ferry ramp at Ribandar. There were four members living in this house. As the Ganesh Festival approaches the family does not know where to celebrate the festival.
