MARGAO: The farmers of Dicarpale have complained about not getting adequate water supply even though there is a large pond in their vicinity, adding that their fields had suffered due to the water scarcity. The local panch members said that proper pipelines needed to be laid to address this issue. Velim MLA Cruz Silva, who listened to the grievances, said that he had already spoken to the departments concerned and that the matter will be taken up shortly. He stated that the problem was with the topography of the area, which had led to delays in the work being completed.
