Speaking at the passing out parade ceremony of GHRDC security personnel, the Chief Minister said, “The GHRDC in the next five years aims to be the biggest self-sustained corporation in the Human Resource field, providing regular jobs to Goans who could not complete their education.”
He said, “The GHRDC was formed to provide employment for the deprived such as those who for various reasons, couldn’t complete their education, failed to clear their Board examinations and are finding it difficult to find regular jobs.”
He spoke about his personal attachment to the GHRDC being its chairman and founder director.
“Permanent status shall be given to the GHRDC employees after they complete their probation period,” said Sawant.
He elaborated about how the State government is looking at accommodating the GHRDC employees in the government departments such as Forest or Police amongst others.
The Chief Minister encouraged them to study further and be sincere in their work.
“Sincerity towards work is the key to progress. The GHRDC employees should pursue further education to open the doors for a better future,” said Sawant.
