The Goa Police have received an anonymous email threatening to detonate an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at the Director General of Police (DGP) office. The threat is connected to recent events involving Jaffer Sadiq (linked to the DMK-related meth case) and implies the use of sulfur-peroxide-based IEDs.

In response to the serious threat, a thorough search and security scan of the police headquarters are currently underway to ensure the safety of everyone present.

Authorities are taking the matter with utmost seriousness and have deployed additional security measures while investigations into the threat are ongoing. No immediate reports of any suspicious objects have been found, but the scan is being conducted as a precautionary measure.

The Goa Police are working to ensure the safety and security of the DGP office and the public. Further updates will be provided as the situation unfolds.
