Water Resources Minister Subhash Shirodkar on Monday announced that an estimated ₹13 crore has been proposed for the beautification of the iconic Kesarval spring in Verna. However, the project is currently awaiting both technical and administrative clearances.

Speaking to the media, the Minister stated that once the required approvals are granted, the tendering process is expected to take around two to three months. Shirodkar also emphasized the importance of the spring, noting that its water plays a crucial role in irrigation for the surrounding areas.

The beautification project is aimed at enhancing the natural aesthetics and infrastructure around the popular tourist and religious site, while also ensuring sustainable water usage for agricultural needs.
