530 Agniveers Graduate at Goa’s 2 Signal Training Centre in Grand Passing Out Parade

A grand Passing Out Parade (POP) was held at the 2 Signal Training Centre in Goa, marking the successful completion of 31 weeks of rigorous military and technical training for 530 Agniveers. The event celebrated their transformation from civilians into disciplined soldiers of the Indian Army’s Corps of Signals.

Brigadier Harsh Bhatia, Commandant of the Training Centre, reviewed the parade and addressed the newly inducted soldiers. He congratulated the Agniveers on their dedication and hard work, praising the training staff for upholding high standards. Brigadier Bhatia also extended gratitude to the families, recognizing their essential role in supporting the recruits throughout the training.

The parade showcased the discipline, precision, and coordination instilled during training. Outstanding performers were honored, including Agniveer Patil Piyush Ramesh, Agniveer Rajat Indauliya, and Agniveer Govind Kumar, each awarded the Overall 1st in Merit Medal in their respective courses. Agniveer Devara Siva received the Best in Physical & Sports award, and Agniveer Biaksh Gauda was named Best in Drill.

Post-parade, Brigadier Bhatia engaged with the families and presented them with the ‘Gaurav Padak’ to acknowledge their unwavering support. He emphasized that the families’ encouragement played a crucial role in the Agniveers’ success and assured them that their sons would serve with honour and dedication.

The ceremony marked a proud milestone as the Agniveers embark on their journey of service to the nation, embodying the values of courage, commitment, and patriotism that define the Indian Army.
