Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will soon be integrated into the school and higher education curriculum across Goa. The move aims to equip students with future-ready skills and foster innovation from an early stage.
Speaking about the initiative, CM Sawant also revealed that a dedicated council will be set up to promote AI development in the state. This council will facilitate collaboration between industry and academia, helping create a robust ecosystem for research, learning, and real-world AI applications.
“We are committed to ensuring that Goan students are not left behind in the global technology revolution,” the Chief Minister said, adding that AI education will be aligned with national digital learning goals and industry needs.
The proposed council is expected to guide curriculum development, support faculty training, and encourage AI-based projects and startups, positioning Goa as a future tech hub.
