The Anti-Narcotic Cell (ANC) conducted a raid in Siolim, resulting in the arrest of Cameroonian national Promise Umeh for allegedly possessing 13 grams of ecstasy powder, valued at approximately ₹1.3 lakh.
Authorities revealed that Umeh had a prior record with the ANC, having been arrested in 2024 for possession of various drugs. He was released earlier this year on conditional bail in July.
The recent seizure underscores the ongoing vigilance of law enforcement against drug-related offenses in the region.
