PANJIM: Old Goa Police have added a section of the Arms Act to the FIR filed against land-grabbing accused Siddiqui alias Suleman Khan, and his accomplice Hazrat Ali.
According to sources, the new charge has been included following allegations that Siddiqui and Ali threatened Amit Naik by pointing an illegal firearm at him. This incident occurred when Naik had accompanied Siddiqui to Hubli after assisting him in escaping from the Crime Branch lockup.
Meanwhile, Siddiqui was discharged from the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) in Bambolim after undergoing minor surgery. He had been admitted to the GMC on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
