CM Promises Revisions If Needed, To Review Road Project Plans with Villagers on Monday

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant met with a delegation of Bhoma villagers on Friday to address concerns over a proposed road project that they fear could impact local homes and a temple. In a reassuring statement, CM Sawant assured residents that no part of the temple would be demolished and that he was committed to ensuring no houses would be affected.

"I don't want to demolish a single house," Sawant told the gathering. "If any house is being affected, show me. I'm ready to change the plan."

The meeting, held in Sankhali, was aimed at easing tensions surrounding the infrastructure project. Sawant further promised that he would meet the villagers again on Monday at the Mantralaya, where he and his technical team will present the detailed project plan for review.

The CM's assurances come after rising apprehension among Bhoma residents, who have been vocal about protecting their homes and heritage from any unintended consequences of the development.
