Body of Assolda man, 46, found near Zuari Bridge after going missing

Sushil Prabhudesai, 46, a resident of Assolda, was found dead floating near the Zuari Bridge on Monday (September 15, 2025), a day after he was reported missing. His disappearance alarmed locals after his two-wheeler and slippers were discovered abandoned close to the bridge on Sunday evening, raising suspicions that he may have jumped into the river or otherwise left the area. Quepem Police registered the missing person case and initiated a search, tracking his mobile phone to the same vicinity, which further intensified concerns.
