A bomb threat at the Bardez Deputy Collector’s office in Mapusa led to a swift and intense security operation after an email was received, warning of an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) planted in the office. The threat prompted immediate action from law enforcement agencies, triggering a high-security response.
Bomb disposal squads, along with ATS commandos and police teams, were deployed to the office to conduct a thorough search of the premises. The teams meticulously combed through the area to ensure public safety. Fortunately, no explosives were found during the investigation.
