Security agencies sprang into action on Tuesday after the High Court of Bombay at Goa received an anonymous email threatening to blow up the court building using an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
Porvorim Police immediately responded to the alert and are currently on-site securing the premises. A bomb disposal squad has been mobilized and is on the way to conduct a thorough search of the High Court complex.
Authorities have launched an investigation to trace the source of the email and determine its credibility. As a precautionary measure, court operations have been affected, and the area is under heightened security.
