In a prompt response to public concern, Calangute Traffic Cell PI Sachin Narvekar took swift action after a suspicious red car was spotted parked in Baga. The vehicle, which had tinted windows, no number plate, and a “Police” nameplate, drew attention from locals who quickly alerted authorities.

Upon inspection, it was found that the car had been parked by tourists who had gone for lunch nearby. The suspicious appearance of the vehicle raised alarm, leading to immediate intervention by the traffic cell. The car was challaned for multiple violations, including the absence of a number plate and unauthorized use of a police identifier.

Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious vehicles or activities, especially in high-footfall tourist zones like Baga.
