The accident took place on the steep and often treacherous stretch of road that connects Goa to Karnataka and Maharashtra. According to sources, the car lost control and flipped, coming to rest on its side. Local passersby assisted the driver before emergency services arrived on the scene.
While Mhaouskar was treated for minor injuries, the vehicle suffered significant structural damage and had to be towed away. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, though slippery road conditions or speeding are suspected factors.
