Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade has announced that the Central Government has sanctioned Rs 1,060.21 crore for the 4-laning of a 7 km stretch from Bhoma to Old Goa on National Highway 748. The ambitious project, aimed at easing traffic congestion in key areas such as Bhoma, Corlim, and Ella, includes the construction of two elevated corridors covering 4.275 km and 7-meter-wide service roads on both sides.

Once completed, this project will facilitate the full four-laning of the Panaji-Khandepar corridor, significantly improving road safety and connectivity in the region.

Tanavade expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for their continued support in promoting Goa's infrastructure development and progress.
