Misunderstanding Over Road Length Addressed; Engineers to Present Detailed Plan On-Site

Amid rising concerns over the ongoing road construction project in Bhoma, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has assured the public that the Bhoma temple will not be affected. Addressing the confusion, Sawant said that a miscommunication had led some residents to believe that a 60-meter-wide road was being constructed, when in fact, the project involves a 25-meter-wide road.

“There has been a misunderstanding among the people, which we have now clarified,” Sawant stated. “The temple at Bhoma remains untouched. Only four houses will be impacted, and we are fully committed to providing alternative plots and financial assistance to the affected families for rebuilding their homes.”

The Chief Minister also addressed the concerns of small vendors in the area. “For those who operate small carts, we will make arrangements for them to continue their business near the temple,” he added.

To ensure transparency and build public trust, government engineers will be present on-site tomorrow to explain the specific details of the project and address any remaining doubts from the local residents.

Sawant urged the community to cooperate and trust the government’s intentions. “This project is being done with careful planning and respect for local heritage and livelihoods. We are working in everyone’s interest.”

The clarification comes after a wave of public concern and opposition, which the government now hopes to ease with open communication and on-ground engagement.
