Several commuters have raised concerns about the negligent behavior of Kadamba Transport Corporation staff at bus stations, highlighting a growing sense of frustration among daily travelers.
According to frequent users of the service, it is not uncommon to find counters meant for pass verification and ticketing left unattended. On multiple occasions, travelers have reportedly had to wait indefinitely, with no staff present to check travel passes or issue tickets.
Even when employees are present, some have allegedly been seen distracted—engaged in personal conversations, scrolling through their phones, or occupied with unrelated work—while passengers stand in queues waiting to be served.
“This kind of apathy is unacceptable, especially during peak hours when the rush is heavy. There needs to be accountability,” said one disgruntled commuter.
The issue has prompted calls for stricter monitoring and improved discipline among transport staff to ensure a more commuter-friendly experience. Authorities have yet to respond to the rising complaints, but passengers hope the situation is addressed soon.
