SANGUEM: The Sanguem PWD officials on Friday repaired the broken pipeline that was in disrepair for the last four months. Herald TV had highlighted how authorities have been turning a blind eye to this matter.

Herald TV had reported how a broken water pipeline on the road leading from Sanguem town to Amadai village which remained unrepaired for the past four months had become a nuisance and an area of concern for locals and road users.

Despite the constant leakage and wastage of a lot of water, no steps were taken to address the problem.

The PWD officials on Friday took up the work of the repairs and have plugged the leakage. The PWD officials have reportedly started the work of repairing other water pipeline leakages in the vicinity.
