To improve transparency and raise the quality of IT and ICT project implementation, the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (DITE&C), Government of Goa, has empanelled Third Party Audit (TPA) agencies to monitor and evaluate state-run technology projects.
These TPAs will act as independent auditors, responsible for assessing IT infrastructure initiatives undertaken by various government departments. Their duties include checking compliance with established standards, reviewing project performance, and ensuring timely and efficient achievement of project goals.
The move is part of the state’s broader push to strengthen its digital ecosystem, foster greater accountability, and encourage the effective use of technology in public service delivery. All departments, corporations, and autonomous bodies have been notified and urged to engage these empanelled TPAs for applicable projects, reaffirming the government’s commitment to high-quality, transparent digital governance across Goa.
