Margao DySP shared all the case details and status of investigation with DGP; late Prabhu’s family finally took his body following postmortem examination and performed the final rites

MARGAO: The Director General of Police (DGP) Alok Kumar, IPS, visited the South Goa Police Headquarters at Margao, and held discussions with DySP Santosh Dessai on Saturday afternoon to know the progress in the Adv Jayant Prabhu suicide case.
Sources further stated that DySP Dessai shared all the details of the suicide case and the current status of investigation with the DGP.
On Saturday, Prabhu's family finally took Adv Jayant’s body following the postmortem examination. A large number of advocates, relatives and others attended the final rites which were held on Saturday.
Noted criminal lawyer Amey Prabhudessai said that their demand was to register the FIR, which has been fulfilled.
