Sources have confirmed that former Chief Minister Digambar Kamat and Ramesh Tawadkar will be sworn in as Cabinet ministers on Thursday at 11 am, marking a significant political reshuffle in the Goa government.
The move follows the resignation of Environment Minister Aleixo Sequeira and Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar, paving the way for their induction into the Cabinet.
The reshuffle, which has been the subject of intense speculation for weeks, is aimed at realigning portfolios and strengthening regional and community representation within the BJP-led government.
An official announcement on the portfolios to be allotted is expected shortly after the swearing-in ceremony.
