MAPUSA/RAIA: FC Sanquelim registered a fluent 3-1 win over Siddeshwar SC in the GFA’s Division III League Bardez Zone match played at Quitula ground, on Monday.
Saidutt Hanjunkar scored a goal in each session of play for FC Sanquelim, while Rudresh Mandrekar netted the third goal. Muhammad Pathan scored the consolation goal for Siddeshwar SC.
Raitura SC, Rachol, and St Rock’s YC, Calata-Majorda, registered wins in the Salcete League matches. At Dando ground, Benaulim, Varca SC defeated St Rock’s YC 2-1. Aflon Pires and Abdul Rehman Mulla scored for Varca SC, while Ashley Mendes reduced the margin for St Rock’s YC.
At Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda, Raitura SC hammered Navelim SC 6-0. Seby Colaco and Vellroy Fernandes scored a brace each, while Sanjiro Pango and Milroy Fernandes netted a goal each.
