PANJIM: In a significant step towards improving student employability, the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and the Government Polytechnic Panjim, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on providing training opportunities. The agreement aims to link education more closely with the world of work.
The initiative, spearheaded by the Modern Office Practice Department at GPP, has a long-standing history of providing skilled staff to both government and private sectors for over 50 years. The three-year diploma program in Modern Office Practice boasts an impressive placement record of nearly 100 per cent. The curriculum equips students with essential skills in stenography, computer typing, and other relevant subjects, preparing them for careers in administration, accounting, and various industries.
