The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) has welcomed the newly introduced Goa Transport Aggregator Guidelines 2025, calling it a forward-thinking move that modernizes public mobility and enhances economic productivity.
GCCI President Shrinivas Dempo said the guidelines mark a crucial step toward streamlining transportation in the state through regulated, app-based taxi services. “This is no longer a luxury—it is a necessity,” Dempo stated, highlighting the importance of efficient transport for residents, tourists, and the business community alike.
He added that the guidelines will help build a safer, tech-enabled, and more transparent mobility ecosystem in Goa, while also opening up new opportunities for local entrepreneurs and transport operators.
The Chamber expressed confidence that the policy will align Goa’s transport infrastructure with national benchmarks and global trends.
