Goa Tourism made waves at the Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB) 2025 in Jaipur, kicking off the event with a striking display of the state’s evolving travel experiences. With a vibrant showcase of the state’s diverse and regenerative tourism offerings, Goa marked a successful presence on the very first day of the prestigious event.

Backed by the Government of Rajasthan, the Ministry of Tourism (Govt. of India), and FICCI, this premier B2B travel event brought together top international buyers, tour operators, and tourism stakeholders, making it a golden opportunity for Goa Tourism to pitch its vision for the future.

Leading the Goa delegation were Mr. Sanjeev Ahuja, IAS (Secretary, Tourism), Shri Kedar Naik (Director of Tourism), Mr. Gavin Dias (GM, GTDC), and Mr. Rajesh Kale (Deputy Director, South). The team made their presence felt through high-energy B2B meetings, policy panels, and strategic networking, all aimed at strengthening Goa’s position on the global tourism map.

Mr. Sanjeev Ahuja also took centre stage in a key panel discussion titled “Catalysing Growth: How Tourism Policies are Attracting MICE Opportunities.” Sharing space with tourism heads from states like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Odisha, he highlighted Goa’s game-changing policies, infrastructure upgrades, and branding strategies that are positioning the state as a fast-rising MICE hotspot.

Commenting on the buzz around Goa’s showcase, Director of Tourism, Shri Kedar Naik said, “Goa is being seen in a whole new light. Our presence at GITB confirms that interest in Goa now goes far beyond its beaches. Regenerative tourism, heritage trails, eco-stays—we’re reshaping how the world sees and experiences our state.”
