The Goa Cabinet on Wednesday approved several key measures, including the Goa State Logistics & Warehousing Incentive Scheme 2025, designed to attract investment and strengthen the state’s logistics sector.

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant said the scheme will provide capital subsidies, loan interest support, and other benefits to logistics and warehousing units, creating jobs for Goans and improving supply chain efficiency.

The Cabinet also approved the appointment of The Energy & Resource Institute (TERI) as an advisor for handling and managing legacy iron ore dumps. “TERI’s expertise will help address long-pending environmental and mining issues,” Sawant said.

In a major boost to tourism and sports, the CM announced that Goa Street Circuit in Mormugao has been finalized to host Round 4 of the 2025 Indian Racing Festival, positioning Goa as a high-profile motorsport destination.
