A Goa-Bengaluru interstate bus narrowly avoided a tragedy early Tuesday morning after it met with a major accident near Yellapur. The bus, which was reportedly carrying several passengers, ended up dangerously hanging over the edge of a cliff following the incident.
Miraculously, all passengers survived the crash. However, several sustained minor to moderate injuries and were promptly shifted to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
Eyewitnesses said the accident occurred on a sharp curve, and the situation could have turned fatal had the bus slipped any further. Local authorities and emergency responders rushed to the spot and began rescue operations to safely evacuate all passengers.
