On the third day of the ongoing Goa Assembly session, the Chief Minister is set to present the Budget for 2025-26. Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar emphasized that the budget will focus primarily on the development of Goa, with key attention given to the Swayampurna Goa initiative and the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. These two initiatives aim to empower the state economically and socially, while aligning with the broader national goal of self-reliance.
Swayampurna Goa, a flagship initiative, aims to foster sustainable development in rural areas of the state, improving livelihoods and providing basic infrastructure. Atmanirbhar Bharat, the government’s vision of self-reliance, will focus on creating opportunities for local businesses and strengthening Goa's economy through various development projects.
Further, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has confirmed that the Budget for 2025-26 will be presented at 4:30 PM today. Sawant assured that the budget would bring significant benefits to the people of Goa.
