Goa CM Assures Taxi Operators of Consultation on App Aggregator Policy, Rules Out Protest

In response to concerns raised by taxi operators over the new app aggregator policy, Goa Chief Minister has assured that the government will take them into confidence before finalizing the draft.

Addressing the issue, the CM said, “We are reworking on the draft, and before it is published, taxi operators will be called to provide their inputs. There is no question of protesting outside the Goa Assembly. They should trust the government and me.

The Chief Minister further clarified that around 20 taxi operators will be consulted in the process and urged others not to waste time unnecessarily. The statement comes after taxi operators had claimed they were excluded from discussions despite prior assurances.

The move reflects the government’s attempt to engage stakeholders directly while finalizing policy changes affecting the state’s taxi industry.
