Pramod Sawant Appeals for Cooperation, Reaffirms Government's Commitment to Workers’ Welfare

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has appealed to labour unions across the state to refrain from organizing protests and instead engage in constructive dialogue with the government to resolve their concerns.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Chief Minister emphasized that the government is fully committed to addressing the genuine demands of labourers and safeguarding their welfare. “Dialogue, not disruption, is the way forward,” Sawant said, urging unions to adopt a cooperative approach in working with authorities.

He reassured workers that their rights and well-being remain a top priority for his administration and that all legitimate grievances would be taken seriously and acted upon in a timely manner.

The appeal comes amid growing unrest among certain labour groups in the state, raising concerns over employment security and working conditions. The government hopes to prevent further agitation through open communication and collaborative policy-making.
